USA Shooting Bulletin #1: <download>
1) For the State Junior Olympic matches we will be recording all scores in INTEGER format.
Not all ranges are able to accurately do decimal scoring at this time so in order to keep everything on a level playing field we will use INTEGER for all State Junior Olympic Host Sites

2) For the Junior Olympic Program we will be exempting the ISSF rule regarding the seam underneath the elbow. This will be allowable as many of our clubs use jackets of this nature. This rule was also exempted during the last quad.

3) The recent ISSF rules call for a boot flexibility test that many clubs may not have access to. Although USAS would encourage you to do this for your competitors if you can, we will exempt this rule from the STATE Junior Olympic Match. As we approach National Junior Olympics USAS will clarify to all competitors what rules will and will not be enforced.

4) All other ISSF Rule updates, including the new allowances on buttplate and forend depth, will be in effect for the State and National Junior Olympics with the inclusion of blinders and corrective lenses.
------ A) Blinders – Rifle and pistol athletes can use one front blinder (30 mm maximum width) but may no longer wear side blinders.
------ B) Corrective Optics - Rifle athletes will be allowed to place a single corrective lens in or on their rear sights.

5) For Air Pistol and Air Rifle, Men and Women will now shoot the same number of shots (60).
6) SBR Qualifier is a 3x20 --- April JOs SBR is a 3x40 match format
